The Experiences
Four ways to step outside
There is no single KSI experience.
The landscape, duration and level of challenge can change, but the intention remains the same: creating space for inner leadership development through outdoor experience, adventure and relationship.
The four experiences below provide a starting point. Each can be adapted to the needs of the participants, the organisation and the context.
Local
A 2–3 day outdoor experience close to home
You don’t have to travel far to step outside the familiar.
A local experience creates space to slow down, move, disconnect from everyday routines and reconnect with yourself, others and the natural environment.
The format can be shaped around the needs of a leadership team, emerging leaders or an executive programme.
Fulufjellet (Norway)
A multi-day wilderness expedition
Further away from everyday life, the landscape becomes part of the experience.
A wilderness expedition in Norway offers a deeper immersion in outdoor adventure, uncertainty and simplicity.
The exact route, duration and level of challenge can be adapted to the group and the intended experience.
Sarek (Sweden)
A deeper wilderness experience
Sarek takes the experience further.
A demanding journey through the Swedish mountains creates a context of physical challenge, uncertainty, interdependence and immersion in wilderness.
This experience is particularly suited to groups looking for a more intensive and transformative outdoor experience.
Inari (Finland)
A winter experience in Finnish Lapland
Winter changes the way we experience both landscape and ourselves.
The darkness, cold, snow and silence of Finnish Lapland create a very different environment for stepping away from everyday life.
The Inari experience can be designed around reflection, connection, leadership development and the particular qualities of the winter landscape.
Designed around the people
These are not fixed packages.
Every group is different. The experience can be shaped around the people involved, the purpose of the programme, the available time and the desired level of physical and psychological challenge.
Some experiences may be highly exploratory. Others may focus more on reflection and perspective.
We start with what you are looking for, and design the experience from there.
If you are curious about what might fit, let’s start a conversation.
